According to the USDA website an outbreak of Salmonella has been associated with ground beef products here in California and other neighboring states. I would definitely check out their website for more detailed information if you have purchased ground beef in the past few weeks.
Salmonella can be life threatening especially to those with weak immune systems. Be sure that your meat has an internal temperature of 160 degree Fahrenheit.
Well I hope this all passes soon so I can go back to making burgers.
